Cassie loved to sit on the sofa in the conservatory and lounge around in the sun when it streamed in through the windows. She could also survey her domain from this vantage point and make sure that none of the other dogs, whom she considered as minions, could bother her.
Around about the same time I had another little lady customer called Lucy Liu who came to me for 3 weeks daycare while her regular carer was away on holiday. She was really tiny and came with her own little carry case as well as her little day bed, however she tended to prefer to hide in her carry case and horde her little doggy treats on her blanket. Lucy Liu was so tiny and delicate that I kept her separate from the other dogs as I was worried she could get injured by them.
Lucy Liu wasn’t one for going out walking and she much preferred to sit on my lap while I worked on my computer in my office in the afternoons. In fact she was quite taken by the computer screen and seemed to be scrutinizing my spreadsheets as if she didn’t think much of how I had set them out and moreover, that she thought she could have come up with a much better design!
